Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website (personal data), then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement. Woof Works may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. What data do we collect

Whilst we will of course want to know all about your dog, we will also collect the following information about you:

  • Your name and address

  • Your contact information, including mobile and email address

  • Photos of you and your dog during training sessions

We will keep your personal data on file for a reasonable length of time in order to contact you about upcoming classes and opportunities. Photos on the website and social media may stay up for longer, although in each case we can remove them if you no longer wish them to be displayed.

Lawful Basis of Collection

We collect this data in order to be able to fulfil our contract with you to enable you to bring your dog to training sessions with us.

If you no longer wish to attend our training classes, you can ask us to delete your contact details at any time by emailing us at sarah@thewoofworks.uk with the word UNSUBSCRIBE in the Subject Line. In relation to photographs, we will only publish these on our website with your permission. If you choose to share photos with us via Facebook, Instagram or other social media, we will deem this to be informed consent for us to use such photos on our website as well.

What we do with the information we gather

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

  • Communication with you for both training session notes, as well as regarding training session timings, cancellations and related information.

  • Posting of photographs on social media or our website

  • We may use the information to ask you how we might improve our services.

  • We may periodically send promotional emails about new courses and opportunities which we think you may find interesting using the email address that you have provided.

We will not sell your personal data or give it to anyone else.

Your rights

You have certain rights in relation to how we manage your personal data as follows:

  • Right of access - You have the right to ask for confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning you is being processed, and, where that is the case, access to what we have, what we are doing with it and any other rights given to you at law.

  • Right to object – you can ask us to stop doing anything with your data (although again, it will stop you from being able to attend training classes

  • Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority – you are always at liberty to make  a complaint to the UK Information Commissioners Office about how we process your personal data
